I think that readings 18, 20, 49, and 50, all have something in common. i think that each of the readings in its own way deals with the issue of stereotyping, and how we perceive ourselves and each other. the readings address how unique groups face the stereotypes facing them head on and try to change peoples perceptions of them.

As far as the class project goes, although it may seem difficult, i think the best idea would be for the class to decide upon an issue that we all agree upon, and that we are all excited about. i think if we choose something we would all enjoy and something that we care about, the project would be really successful
