How I ended up at Siena.
From freshman year of high school up until early senior year, I had had my heart set on going to Franciscan University of Steubenville, in Ohio. I was very closed minded to other school to begin with. I don't know what happened, but I suddenly decided that I could be open to the idea of other schools. I applied to a total of seven schools, and got accepted to every one. My top three choices ended up not included my original school choice by any means. Franciscan ended up being too expensive, and gave me too little in financial aid. Also, the 9 hour distance wasn't something I would really look forward too. When it came down to decided, I was torn between Siena and Roberts Wesleyan, in Rochester. Both schools gave me about the same about of money with financial aids and scholarships. I was originally leaning more towards Roberts Wesleyan, however, one of my best friends, who is now a sophomore here at Siena, continuously invited me over here to hang out. The more I was here, the more I fell in love with Siena. I felt so accepted within the community and could truly see myself going here. Although it really close to home, I felt it was the right choice for me. I always wanted to go to a Catholic school, specifically one that has a chapel on campus. So Siena seemed like the perfect choice.
